Away from Home

I always write about restaurants and such in Kamloops. Here are my recommendations for various places I've visited away from this fair city. I will make this as complete as I can and will add to it when I come across a new place to dine.

Hilary's Cafe - Denman St, Vancouver - good for coffee and cheap breakfasts
The Naam - Vancouver - mmmmmm good all day long
The Boat House - English Bay, Vancouver - fish/seafood...mmmm
Frescos - Kelowna - the best restaurant I've been to in a long time...if not ever
Paperchase Newstand & Cafe - Blower St, Halifax - good coffee and yummy looking eats
Gabrieaus - Antigonish, Nova Scotia - love the steaks with onions and mushrooms...mmmmm...followed by chocolate amaretto cheesecake....mmmmm....
Samba Brazilian Steakhouse at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas...very yummy steaks with loads of side dishes....can't wait for a return visit....
Cheesecake Factory in Gibsborough...lots of everything...

I'm not sure if the following places are open still or not but here it goes:

Sierra - Auckland, New Zealand - coffee and great toast
Kimagurte - Tsuchiura, Japan - great local izakaya
Kunimonoya (spelling?) - Tsuchiura, Japan - great local izakaya with a fresh menu every day
