Quiznos
Downtown, Kamloops
Until today, I had never been to the downtown Quiznos or any other Quiznos for that matter, and considering my experience today, I will never go again. I had a honey mustard chicken salad for $6.99. I'm okay with the cost of food as long as I feel like I get something for it. So here it is. The woman was chopping up lettuce; this made me very happy since I thought I would get a fresh salad. Once she did that and filled up the sandwich station, she proceeded to open up a plastic container with lettuce. You know the ones that you can buy at any grocery store. The lettuce is pre-washed, ready to eat. Anyways that is what she used for my salad. Then there were bits of chicken with melted cheese. And that was the salad. The lettuce was not fresh and the salad did not look like the ones in the pictures. For $6.99, I could have made several salads like that one at home...oh right I already do that. I thought I would get something special being that it is honey mustard and all. So the next time I want a fast food salad, I will head to Subway, where I get to add toppings to my pre-washed lettuce. At little more expensive but at least I feel like I'm getting something for my money.
