Minos
Tranquille Rd, Kamloops

I don't go to this restaurant very often, but every time I do, I love it. The last time I was there I had the Marathon Platter - served up hot, fast and heaping with food. This platter features lamb chops and calamari and of course has all of the usual accompaniments - rice, potato, Greek salad, vegetables and pita bread - all for $19.95. My dining partners had some form of chicken, which for some reason I actually liked better than the lamb. My other favourite is the potato. Creamy, salty and buttery, the potato at Minos never disappoints. The best part of going to Minos is taking home the leftovers, and there are always lots of leftovers. Personally, I think this long time Greek establishment is the best of all of the Greek restaurants in town. They seem to always hit everything just right. I think from now on I'm going to call it...mmmmmMinos.....
