Cowboy Coffee
Victoria Street, Kamloops

Several times a weeks for many months I visited this coffeeshop; however, it is no longer to be.

I like the products...the coffees, the soups and even the sandwiches at their very expensive prices.

The service on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. Not once have I been greeted with a smile, a hello or even a flicker of recognition. I don't think there is another shop in Kamloops with grumpier or more unfriendly servers.

I have visited Oops Cafe only three times and Rick the owner, since my second visit, has greeted me not only with a big smile but also with a very friendly hello with my name-really a much more pleasant atmosphere to be in.

So Cowboy Coffee, while I will miss your comfy sofas, they are certainly not reason enough for me to patronize your shop any more.

Your original post was September 2005. It is now June 2010 and absolutely nothing has changed. The owners have yet to apply any kind of "service" to what they do.
It's a "give us your money- what do you want?" attitude. I will not go in there again!

Oops Cafe has a new owner as of February 2010.
It is now CLEAN, has an owner that makes her own product, has a personality and thanks you for coming to her shop. Certainly a change from the previous owner!!
