It was only because the Fox & Hounds was so stinking busy and had a line up out the door that I went to this pub. For personal reasons, I had not been in this pub for several years. However, I was glad that I finally went back. We had nachos for $9.95, and because we were there on Thursday night, we had the prawns for 35 cents each. The nachos were good. I'm not sure why they bake them on the paper as it is hard to get the melted cheese (what there was of it) without picking up the paper too. There were lots of nachos for two, but I would have liked a bit more cheese (everyone needs more cheese). The best part of this meal was the prawns. Yes, they were a little more per prawn than say at the Fox, but they are so much better and so worth it. These are big, fat, meaty prawns and just plain old yum!!!! The smart thing that they do at this pub that they don't at the Fox is they bring one container of melted butter for every ten prawns (as opposed to just one container for however many you order). Anyways now that I've broken the Duffy's curse, I'm sure I'll be back again.
